Founded in 2024 [1], Libex, short for the Libation Exchange, is an American-owned and operated organization based in Torrington, Wyoming, that allows spirits collectors and enthusiast to buy, sell, and trade new-make and aged whiskey barrels alongside industry insiders including craft and independent distilleries and bottlers. [2]Utilizing a closed, membership only, user-driven exchange process, Libex was founded with the goal of democratizing participation and investment in premium cask whiskey through increased transparency and liquidity.
