Sir Lawrence Washington, [1] (c. 19 May 1565 - c. 13 Dec 1616) was the great-great-great grandfather of George Washington, the First President of the United States.
Life

[edit]On 19 May, 1565, Washington was born to Robert Washington and Elizabeth Light, in Sulgrave Manor, Northamptonshire, England.[1]
Mid-Life
[edit]On the 3rd of August, 1588, Lawrence married Margaret Butler and had 14 children.[1]
Death and Burial
[edit]Sir Lawrence Washington died on the 13th of December, 1616, at the age of 51. His place of death was in Great Brington, in Northamptonshire, England.[1] He was buried in Daventry, Northamptonshire.[1]
