Lancet General Hospital is a private healthcare facility located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Established in November 2020 by a group of 24 specialists and subspecialists, it consists of three buildings—two eight-story and one five-story—housing a range of medical facilities and services. The hospital focuses on delivering multidisciplinary care as it houses more than 80 specialists with comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical capabilities.
Founding and Establishment
[edit]Founded by a diverse team of specialists, Lancet General Hospital opened in November 2020 as part of the broader Lancet Health Services PLC initiative, which includes Lancet Beherawi Medical and Surgical Center and Lancet MCH Hospital, as well as Lancet Pharmaceuticals, a business specializing in the import and wholesale of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals. Lancet General Hospital represents the first launched project of this organization.
