LambdaTest is a cloud-based unified testing platform.[1][2] for developers and testers to perform automated and manual testing of web and mobile applications across a wide range of browsers, operating systems, and real devices. The company is headquartered in San Francisco, California. The company has over 15,000 customers, including Fortune 500 and G2000 companies[3].

History

LambdaTest was founded in 2017 by Asad Khan and Jay Singh[4][5]. In December 2024, LambdaTest raised USD 38 million in a funding round led by Avataar Ventures, with participation from Qualcomm Ventures, bringing its total funding to USD 108 million[6] LambdaTest has raised nearly $70 million from top investors in previous funding rounds, including Premji Invest, Sequoia Capital India [7], Titanium Ventures, Leo Capital Holdings, and Blume Ventures[8][9][10].

Satya Nadella, Chairman and CEO, of Microsoft, at the ‘Microsoft Future Ready Technology Summit’ in Bengaluru, India, on January 5, 2023, mentioned how LambdaTest is using GitHub to run its cloud-based test execution platform which developers can use to perform manual and automated tests on their sites[11][12].

As of 2024, it claims to have around 2.3 million developers and testers worldwide and executed over 1.2 billion tests, including Nvidia, Vimeo, Microsoft, and Rubrik[13][14].

Browser and App Testing Cloud - perform both exploratory and automated testing across over 3000 different browsers, real devices, and operating systems[15][16][17].

HyperExecute - LambdaTest developed HyperExecute, a test orchestration platform. It is a next-gen smart testing platform to help businesses run end-to-end automation tests[18][19].

KaneAI - In August 2024, LambdaTest launched KaneAI, an end-to-end software AI test agent[20][21][22].
