The Labrador Plateau is located in the geographic region of Labrador, which is part of the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador; it occupies the easternmost section of the Canadian Shield, a large geological formation in eastern Canada, bordering the Labrador Sea to the east and the province of Quebec to the west.[1][2]

The area is 110 square miles. It covers most of Labrador.[3]
