LGG Georgia
[edit]LGG (Georgian: ელჯიჯი) is Georgian window manufacturer headquartered in Tbilisi, Georgia[1]. LGG is a distinguished window manufacturer in Georgia and Transcaucasia, notable for being the only production company in the region to receive a REHAU quality certification[2].
History
[edit]The journey of transitioning from a small, family-operated enterprise to a large corporate entity began in 1999 with the production of one of the first metal-plastic doors and windows under a ground rental arrangement.[3] In 2006, the company, known as LGG, was formally established within the capital's main building. The expansion continued with the creation of office and warehouse facilities in 2009, and by 2014, a new production facility was inaugurated. This facility was outfitted with s
tate-of-the-art, European-standard instruments and technical equipment, signifying the company's commitment to contemporary manufacturing practices.[4]
The quality of LGG's production processes and products attracted the attention of REHAU, which in 2015 conducted a thorough audit of LGG's operations. This audit examined several aspects, including the protection of technical production processes, the utilization of the original equipment set, and adherence to modern production standards.[5] The inspection concluded that LGG met the stringent requirements for an authorized partnership with REHAU, earning it the company's quality certification. This achievement distinguished LGG as the sole production company in Georgia and the Transcaucasian region to hold a REHAU quality certification. Additionally, LGG was awarded the ISO 9001 Certificate for Enterprise European Management and Quality Control.[6]
Today, LGG produces: Plastic windows; aluminum windows, glass roofing, pergola, panorama, and blinds.[7]
