The [1]LAMA International Motorcycle Assoc. was founded in Chicago, IL, USA on June 10, 2000. We did this to celebrate the Millenium and to help globalize LAMA. It is a branch of the Latin American Motorcycle Assoc. LAMA International is intended to be a worldwide club without ethnic connotations.
[2]LAMA International Motorcycle Assoc. is the governing body of the motorcycle sport of Moto-Touring. Moto-Touring is a sport that compiles all the data from 4 distinct categories annually to determine the national and world champions. The categories comprise of total odometer mileage, event participation, points accumulated and event mileage.
