From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kitt is a British managed office operator specialising in the design and management of workspaces.

Founded in 2018 by Steve Coulson and Lucy Minton, Kitt was established as an innovative alternative to traditional leasing and serviced office models [1] . The company’s approach focuses on creating experience-oriented and technology-enabled workspaces that provide fully managed, customised solutions with a primary focus on teams of 20 to 100 employees. This approach provides a seamless alternative to coworking spaces, redefines the dynamics between property owners and tenants, and simplifies the leasing process [2].

History

[edit]

Kitt was established in 2018 by Lucy Minton and Steve Coulson under the trading name Kitt Technology Limited. The company was born from Minton and Coulson’s experience managing an office relocation for their previous employer, JustPark [3], where Minton served as Commercial Director and Coulson as Chief Financial Officer. Their experiences highlighted the need for a service that could streamline and personalise office management services, which led to the inception of Kitt [4].

Funding and Investors

[edit]

Kitt has completed five funding rounds to support its expansion and technological growth within the managed office sector. The most recent funding round concluded on 15 December 2021 [1].

Kitt’s notable investors comprise prominent venture capital firms and private backers, including:

  • Lead Investors: Barclay Ventures, Hoxton Ventures [5] [6], Andrew Barclay [7].
  • Other Investors: Simon Rogerson (Founder of Octopus Group) [8]

[9], Andreas Wiele (AMK Investment Office), Jonathan Wasserstrum
