Kitaab Nama (Urdu: کتاب نامہ) is a unique and interesting publication series focused on book reading, which is published regularly on a website. Previously, it was featured in the literary pages of daily newspapers i.e. Daily Akhbar Khyber, Islamabad / Peshawar and Daily K2 Times, Islamabad / Abbottabad. The first issue of this weekly series was published on April 29, 2012. Since then, it has been providing readers with information about books, guiding new readers, introducing various books, and offering useful information about libraries and book preservation. The primary goal of this series, published in Urdu and English, is to revive the dwindling hobby of book reading in the society. Readers also get to meet authors and publishers, and their impressions and thoughts are shared with the audience. “Kitaab Nama”s Editor-in-Charge is Saqib Mahmood Butt, who is assisted by Rashid Mansoor Rashid, Ayesha Ikram, Zahid Zaman Qureshi, Hasnain Nazish, Mehboob Elahi Makhmoor, Samara Anjum, Mamoona Ahmad and Amna Saeed.
