King is an upcoming Martin Luther King Jr. biopic from Universal Pictures, directed by Chris Rock with Steven Spielberg as executive producer. It is an adaptation of the Jonathan Eig biography King: A Life.
Production
[edit]In October 2023, it was reported that Universal Pictures had optioned the biography by Jonathan Eig of Martin Luther King entitled King: A Life, with the film being produced by Amblin Partners, with Kristie Macosko Krieger serving as producer along with Chris Rock, who is also on board to direct. Steven Spielberg was revealed to be onboard as executive producer.[1]
