Ki So-yu (Korean: 기소유; born February 16, 2017) is a South Korean child actress. She debuted through television series Witch's Love (2018),[1] and is best known for her roles in television series Our Blues (2022) and The Good Bad Mother (2023).[1]
Life and career
[edit]So-yu was born on February 16, 2017[2] in South Korea. She started acting at a young age—one year old—on television series Witch's Love (2018).[1][3] After which, she took some guest and minor roles in several Korean television series such as Catch the Ghost (2019)[4] and Oh My Baby (2020),[3] before taking her first main role in Our Blues (2022) when she was 5 years old.[1][3][5]
Her other notable performances as main or support roles were in television series Three Bold Sibllings (2022),[6] The Good Bad Mother (2023),[1][3] See You in My 19th Life (2023),[3][5] the second season of Sweet Home (2023)[7] and O'Pening: 2:15 (2023).[3] For her performance in Three Bold Siblings, she was nominated for Best Youth Actress at the 2022 KBS Drama Awards.[8] Her film debut will be on Mist (2024).[9]
