Kevin P. Clark is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aptiv (formerly Dephi Automotive).[1]. He joined the company as a director in March 2015, when he also became President and CEO, and was appointed Chairman in April 2022. Prior to these roles, Clark served as Aptiv's Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
Education
[edit]Clark earned a B.A. in Finance in 1984 and an M.B.A. in 1986, both from Michigan State University[2]
Career
[edit]Clark began his career in the financial organization of Chrysler Corporation and is a founding partner of Liberty Lane Partners, LLC, a private equity investment firm, from 2007 to 2010. He served as Chief Financial Officer of Fisher-Scientific International Inc., a manufacturer, distributor and service provider to the global healthcare market, from the company’s initial public offering in 2001 through the completion of its merger with Thermo Electron Corporation in 2006.[3]
In 2022, Clark's compensation at Aptiv was reported to be $16,206,621, resulting in one of the highest CEO-to-employee pay ratios in the United States, at 1,991:1. This ratio was calculated based on Aptiv's median employee compensation of $8,139 for the same year.[4]
