Keeyan Itejere is a basketball player from from Knightdale, North Carolina[1]
Early life and high school
[edit]Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, Keeyan Itejere grew up in Knightdale, North Carolina. He attended Grace Christian High School. During his junior year, Keeyan averaging 9.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game. In his senior year, he maintained an average of 11.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 blocks, and 2.0 assists per game. Recognized as a three-star recruit,[2] Itejere committed to play college basketball at Marquette University, choosing it over Texas.[3]
College career
[edit]Itejere[4] began his college journey at Marquette University, where he redshirted his first year (2021-22) under the guidance of head coach Shaka Smart In his second year (2022-23), he made significant contributions, appearing in thirteen games.[5] Following his tenure at Marquette, Itejere transferred to Northern Kentucky University to further his basketball career[6] In his inaugural season with the Northern Kentucky Norse, he played in 30 games, showcasing his prowess with averages of 7.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game.
