Draft:Katie Stump

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Katie Stump is an American singer-songwriter who performs under the name BLÜ EYES. She began performing singles on TikTok in 2020, and has released a series of singles, EPs, and one full length album, "The Last Songs I'll Write About You", on several platforms. She describes her style as "unapologetically real" pop, with emphasis on authenticity behind the emotions conveyed in the song[1]; her choice to perform under a stage name was a result of wanting to be less self-conscious about her writing. Though she has worked with Andy Moor, she generally produces her own music.

Stump was born in Fullerton, California, and grew up in a musical family. She lists her influences as Taylor Swift, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Maggie Rogers, Bon Iver, Phoebe Bridgers, the 1975, Holly Humberstone, Sasha Sloan, and others.

Her first headline tour included locations in the UK, Europe, and North America in the autumn of 2023.[2]

EPs (titles stylized as lower case)
