Kairi is a character from Square Enix's video game franchise Kingdom Hearts. Introduced in the first Kingdom Hearts game in 2002, Kairi is portrayed as a cheerful teenager who lives on the Destiny Islands and has been best friends with Riku and Sora since childhood. However, Kairi is stated to have come from another world, later revealed to be a location called Radiant Garden.

Kairi is part of a group of characters called the seven Princesses of Heart, a group of individuals whose heart do not contain any darkness within them.
