Julien Samuel Roux (born September 1st, 1997) is a French Grappling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitor and coach based in Anglet, Southwest France. A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Brown belt, Julien trains under Clark Gracie (a grandson of Carlos Gracie Sr, one of the co-founders of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu). Julien is a member of, and a coach for, the French National Grappling team.

Biography
[edit]Julien started his martial arts training in 2015 under the instruction of Guillaume Duranton, a disciple of Rickson Gracie. In 2017 Julien moved to San Diego, California to study Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Clark Gracie.
Since 2019, Julien is the co-director of Gracie Allegiance Anglet, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts academy in Anglet, Southwest France[1]. The club was originally known as BOA ONDA, founded in Bayonne, Southwest France in 2014 by Guillaume Duranton. Today the Gracie Allegiance Anglet academy has over 150 members, many of whom compete on a national and international level.
