Juliet Miriam Ayub known mononymously as Jovial is a Kenyan entertainer, vocalist,recording artist and actress.[1]

Biography

Jovial was born on March 3,1993 in Mombasa, Kenya. Jovial developed a passion for music at a young age. She began performing at local events and talent shows, honing her vocal skills and stage presence. Her early influences included Kenyan music icons such as Mejja. [2]

Career

Jovial's career took a significant leap forward in 2015 with the release of her debut single, "Chanda Chema." The song's catchy melody and relatable lyrics resonated with audiences, propelling Jovial to stardom. The success of "Chanda Chema" led to numerous performances and collaborations with other Kenyan and Tanzanian artists including Darassa [3]
