John Byrne is an Irish actor and model among the notable men who blazed a trail for Irish actors/male models in the 1960s, none are as prominent as John Byrne. Keenly sought after to promote such exclusive brands as Cinzano, Odlum's and others, he forged his own path alongside the greats. A pioneer on the screen, he broke the glass ceiling allowing many to follow such as Derek Zoolander and Cillian Murphy. "We stand on the shoulders of giants."
