Jessica Duncton (born 8 December 2005) is a British track and field athlete.[1]

Early life

She attended St Peter's High School, Gloucester.[2]

Career

A member of the Cheltenham Harriers Athletic Club,[3] in March 2022 she became the English national champion in the U17 pentathlon.[4]

In June 2023, she finished sixth in the 100 metres hurdles at the UK National Championships. She was subsequently selected for the 2023 European Athletics U20 Championships in Jerusalem.[5]

In February 2024, she competed for England and ran a new 60 metres hurdles personal best at the IFAM Indoor Championships in Gent, Belguim, running 8.26 seconds in the final.[6][7] That month, she became national under-20 champion and set a new British U20 national record for the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.18 seconds.[8][9]

On 17 February 2024, she qualified for the final of the 60m hurdles at the senior 2024 British Indoor Athletics Championships in Birmingham, with a time of 8.28 seconds. In the final she finished sixth in a time of 8.41 seconds. [10] She finished third in the 100m hurdles at the Loughborough International in May 2024.[11]

In June 2024, she competed at the British Athletics Championships in Manchester.
