Draft:Jesse C. Hart

Jesse Cleveland Hart (July 25, 1864 – March 6, 1933)^[1] was an associate justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court from 1907 to 1927, and chief justice from 1927 to 1933.^[2]

Born in Dardanelle, Arkansas.^[1]

Hart attended college at the University of Arkansas and Vanderbilt Law School, graduating in 1890. He was the elected to be a Chancery Judge for the First Chancery Circuit from 1903 until 1907. Hart was appointed to be an Associate Justice in 1907 where he served until being appointed to be Chief Justice in 1927. Hart served as Chief Justice until his death.^[1]
