Jelle Van Vucht (Born: 14th October 1996) is an english speaking Dutch gaming youtuber better know as Jelly in social media platforms such as Youtube and Instagram. He makes video gameplay on various games of different genres such Minecraft and GTAV.

Personal & Professional Information

Jelle Van Vucht was born in Roermond, Netherlands on October 14, 1996. He did a course in audio visuals in Eindhoven University of Technology to learn on how to produce videos. However, he had to stop with his education due to his other jobs such as youtube and he clothing business distracting him. He is currently dating a fellow youtuber known as Sanna Van Vucht; and he has a brother named Koen.

He Started Uploading GTA 5 videos to youtube in 2014 along with fellow youtuber Kwebblekop and Aquib, and reached the 1 million subscribers milestone within one year of the channel launch. he was a former member of a gaming trio known as 'Robust', which consisted of him, Kwebblekop and Slogoman.[citation needed]

Youtuber Career

Starting the GTA 5 Videos channel (2011)

During his school days, Jelly would show clips of him gaming to his friends and they found it interesting. After seeing his friends were interested in this type of content, he decided to create his first channel, GTA 5 Videos. Eventually other people around the world had seen his videos, which lead him to make more videos.

Foundation of Robust (2014)

In February 2014, Jelly collabed with Aquib and Kwebbelkop. The trio founded the gaming group Robust. They used to upload funny gaming videos. After that, Aquib left and British YouTuber Slogo joined.

Starting Jelly channel (2014)

In 2014, Jelle started his YouTube channel called "Jelly". He used to upload funny gaming videos with Kwebbelkop and Slogoman.

Recording with Kwebbelkop (2014-2019, 2024)

Jelly recorded frequently with Kwebbelkop and Slogo until 2019, when Kwebbelkop left in 2019 after temporarily living in New York City together before getting evicted.

Recording with Crainer and Slogo (2019-2022, 2023-2024)

In late 2019, Jelly started making videos with Crainer. In December 2019, Jelly announced that Kwebbelkop was replaced by Crainer in Robust. Crainer became the newest member of Robust. When Crainer joined the group, the trio rose up in subscribers. Also, Jelly met Crainer in real life in January 2020. In May 2022, He and Slogo removed Crainer from the description of his videos, implying that Crainer stopped recording with the group. In 2023, Crainer reunited with Slogo and reformed the group with Jelly.

Recording with Dino (2020-2023)

In March 2020, Dino commented in a Jelly video and then Jelly hearted the comment and contacted Dino. In May 2020, the both started to record gaming videos and then became great friends. They don't upload together with each other as frequently as with Slogo and Crainer, but do upload great videos when they collaborate.

Podcast With two/thirds (2023-2024)

On February 27th, 2023, Josh and Jelly partnered up and created the two/thirds channel, a comedic podcast. They later joined Twitter and Instagram that day. It wasn’t until the 23rd of March that Jelly announced the podcast. One the 24th of March, Jelly uploaded a video called ‘We Have News…’ where he further promoted the podcast and outlined how it formed. That day, the first video was uploaded on the channel. The channel, since its launch, has been gaining subscribers rapidly.

Leaving Crainer and Slogo (2024)

On August 17, 2024, Slogo would announce the official departure of Jelly from the Robust Group. This seemed to start since late July when Jelly stopped recording with Crainer and Slogo as a result of moving houses.

But the very next day, Jelly uploaded a video on the situation and stated that he was undergoing creator burnout. He states that when someone works with other people, there can sometimes be conflicts and it just won't go well. He also stated that he felt left out with the other two, which especially shows from the SLG channel. He would then state to everyone that he'll start doing stuff (e.g. making videos) on his own.

Reuniting with Kwebbelkop (2024)

On September 8, 2024, five years after Kwebbelkop left, Jelly and him reunited, getting the latter out of gaming retirement. One week later, they reunited in person and moved in together.
