Jean-Boaz Clegban (born 4 March 2006) is a Ivorien professional footballer who plays as a right winger for Campeonato Catarinense club Atlético Catarinense in Santa Catarina, Brazil.[2]
Early life
[edit]Jean-Boaz Clegban began his football journey in Canada, where he displayed a natural talent for the sport from a young age. He started his formal training at the BTB Soccer Academy, a well-regarded institution known for developing young football talent. At BTB Soccer Academy, Clegban developed his foundational skills and showcased his potential as a promising young athlete. Seeking to advance his career, Clegban moved to Spain, a country with a rich footballing heritage and a competitive youth league system. He joined the youth academy of Rayo Vallecano, a club based in Madrid known for its emphasis on youth development. At Rayo Vallecano, Clegban honed his technical and tactical abilities, gaining valuable experience and exposure.
After his stint with Rayo Vallecano, Clegban continued his development at CF Pozuelo. Playing for CF Pozuelo allowed him to further his skills and gain more playing time, which was crucial for his growth as a player.Clegban's football journey took a significant turn when he moved to Brazil, a country famed for its football passion and history of producing world-class talent. He signed his first professional contract with Atlético Catarinense, a club competing in the Brazilian football league system. This move marked a major milestone in Clegban's career as he transitioned from youth and amateur levels to the professional stage.
