Jamna Jaisani Foundation is a trust based in Harda district of Madhya Pradesh, India. It was founded in 2012 by his son, Shanti Kumar Jaisani, and others in memory of Jamna Prasad Jaisani, a social worker.

Brief History

Jamna Prasad Jaisani was an active social activist and fought for the rights of farmers and labour till his death. In 1975, he was also sent to the jail during Emergency under MISA, 1971. Jamna Prasad continued to fight for the common public till his death in. Since 2012, the foundation has been functioning from Jaisani Hall, Jaisani Chowk, Harda and has actively taken up various issues affecting the common public.

Social Activities

Jamna Jaisani Foundation has been carrying out various social activities for the welfare of the common public. It organises activities like medical camps, blood donation drives, afforestation etc. Every year on March 18, the foundation carries out medical camps and felicitation ceremony for the next line of leaders. In 2020, during COVID-19 pandemic, the foundation helped in providing food and other essential medical items to the public. In 2021, it opened its doors to allow vaccination in its hall. In May 2023, the foundation helped District Legal Services Authority, Harda to organise health check-up camps in District Court, Harda. [1]. On 6th July 2023, the 25th anniversary of formation of Harda district, Jamna Jaisani Foundation carried out tree plantation in Harda school. [2]

Recent Activities

In July 2024, the foundation along with Sarva Brahman Samaj led a movement for large scale afforestation. [3]. The foundation is recently leading a movement to extend the under construction Indore-Budhni Railway line to Harda via Sandalpur, Khategaon, Dewas, Madhya Pradesh.
