Ictimai Radio is a radio station operating in the Republic of Azerbaijan, which is being broadcasted by the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company nationwide. The 90 FM frequency is utilized for broadcasting in the Absheron Peninsula. It primarily features programming in Azerbaijani language, focusing significantly on showcasing works by Azerbaijani musicians.

History

Ictimai Radio, Azerbaijan's sole public broadcaster, has been on air continuously since January 10, 2006, and operates around the clock. The station offers a diverse programming lineup accessible nationwide, including a dynamic morning show, an educational evening segment, and specialized programs in sports, business, and jazz music. Additionally, it features various informative shows that delve into Azerbaijan's political, social, and cultural matters. Known for its innovative approach, Ictimai Radio is also committed to supporting emerging musicians, often featuring music from new and young artists. Its operations are regulated under the Republic of Azerbaijan's "Law on Public Television and Radio Broadcasting."

AutoStop	The first and still most popular educational program for drivers on air in Azerbaijan. Although the program has been airing since 2010, it started broadcasting on Ictimai Radio in 2019. The host is Tural Yusifov.	Monday to Friday 18:00 - 20:00
AzeriJazz	One of the rare shows dedicated to Azerbaijani jazz music. It has been hosted by Rahib Azeri since 2019.	Saturday 11:00 - 13:00 (with a repeat broadcast on Sunday 15:00 - 17:00)

This segment was granted the best cultural reportage award in the individual journalist competition held by the Media Development Agency on December 18, 2023.
Health Comes First!	A public service announcement (PSA) program focused on healthy eating, nutrition, and dietary habits to encourage a well-balanced lifestyle.
Today	An educational segment, based on the "This Day in History" consept, offering interesting historical facts and events daily.
Sports Playlist	A curated compilation of impactful songs and championship anthems for the sports community, delving into their historical significance and contemporary relevance.
Famous Nicknames	A segment that explores the nicknames of athletes and the intriguing stories behind how they were earned.
Don't Leave Any Unknown Terms	An educational segment that functions as an explanatory dictionary of sports terminology, designed to help listeners comprehend various terms commonly used in the world of sports.
The Most Expensive Segment	A segment highlighting the largest budgets, most costly transfers, and key financial dealings within the sports industry.
The Anonymous Managers Club	A segment, focusing on the challenges and setbacks faced by entrepreneurs and managers, providing valuable lessons and insights into common business pitfalls.
All the Money in the World	A segment, offering a collection of information about various world currencies, providing an overview of different countries' monetary systems.
Small Wares	A segment digging into how seemingly minor items have resulted in substantial financial gains, examining the intriguing stories associated with these items.
Got Money?!	An educational segment, dedicated to enhancing financial literacy, providing guidance and information on money management and budgeting strategies.

Special programs

Mugham Nights - This initiative, a collaboration between the International Mugham Center and Ictimai Radio, showcased live concert recordings featuring mugham, traditional Azerbaijani folk songs, and classical compositions. Renowned mugham artists performed during these events. Spanning the years 2022-2023, this project offered audiences a profound auditory journey through traditional Azerbaijani music.

AutoStop on the Road - This project was designed to improve awareness of the challenges faced by drivers and other road users, offering a dedicated platform for discussion. Utilizing specialized equipment installed in the car of DJ Tural, the host of the "AutoStop" program, it enabled remote broadcasting, allowing real-time sharing of on-the-ground insights and experiences.

Mobile App

Ictimai Radio offers online streaming through various platforms, including its official website, ictimairadio.az, and the "ITV Mobile" app, available on both iOS and Android. This app enables users to access live broadcasts globally.

Additionally, Ictimai Radio's content is accessible via the station's social media pages and various podcast platforms, allowing listeners to engage through multiple digital channels.
