icryduringsex (born March 5, year) is a Mexican-American singer-songwriter. His music blends elements of alternative, Lofi, indie-pop, and psychedelia. Teaching himself how to make his own music, icryduringsex self-released his first EP, *Heavy Trip*, in 2015, which featured some of his first songs to go viral, "face in space" and "go home".

He then released his first album, *Instrumentals and Stuff*, in the following years. icryduringsex rose to prominence following the release of his 2023 single, "As Long As I Can Tell", allowing him to pursue a music career while still in high school.

As an independent artist in 2023, he released his second album, *Songs4Her*. He released his second EP, *Para Ti*, in 2023, followed by his third album, *Starz*, on January 27, 2024. His third EP, Yuh *ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ ₊˚⊹ ♡ ︎ ⋆.˚.*, was released in 2024, and his fourth album, *The Old Stuff And Demos*, on July 30, 2024.

Early life

icryduringsex was born March 5, year, to immigrant Mexican parents. His mother came from Vera Cruz, and his father came from Hidalgo. He grew up in the city of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and began playing music at the age of eight. He had experimented with trumpet, guitar, drums, and clarinet before the age of 16.

Career

2015: Heavy Trip.

While in school, icryduringsex began producing and releasing songs from his parents' home and releasing them onto Bandcamp and SoundCloud. In January 2015, icryduringsex released his first EP on Spotify, titled Heavy Trip. He then switched to icryduringsex, which was a past username of Cuco on X. a

2016-2017: Instrumentals and Stuff and UNIVERSAL

icryduringsex had self-produced his first mixtape Instrumentals and Stuff in 2016, after teaching himself how to use FL Studio software. icryduringsex released his first single "UNIVERSIAL" in 2017, Following the success of "Instrumentals and Stuff", icryduringsex pursued a career in music.

2023-2024: Songs4Her,Para Ti , Starz, Yuh ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ ₊˚⊹ ♡ ︎ ⋆.˚.,and The Old Stuff And Demos

While in Highschool, icryduringsex uploaded a guitar cover of 1Night by Lil Yachty to TikTok, which gained thousands of views. icryduringsex released "As Long As I Can Tell", the lead single for Songs4Her, before releasing "Cholo" on July 11, 2023. icryduringsex later released his debut Spotify album, Songs4Her on July 11.icryduringsex's album Songs4Her explores themes of love, longing, and introspection. Blending indie-pop and lo-fi elements, the album captures the complexities of relationships through dreamy melodies and heartfelt lyrics. Each track delves into different aspects of love, from joy and connection to pain and nostalgia, making Songs4Her a deeply personal and emotionally resonant project. On November 27, 2023, icryduringsex released "Para Ti". On January 27, 2024, he released his Sophmore album "Starz" The 13-track LP includes appearances from Clairo Justice, Stacy K, Christ Moon, Adam Es. On February 25, 2024 icryduringsex released his 3rd EP Yuh ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ ₊˚⊹ ♡ ︎ ⋆.˚. On July 30, 2024 icryduringsex released his third "The Old Stuff and Demos" Which includes Demo versions of his songs like "As Long As I Can Tell.
