Hillsborough Hog Day

Hillsborough Hog Day is an annual barbecue festival held in Hillsborough, North Carolina. It is the oldest and largest barbecue festival in the state, attracting up to 50,000 visitors during the two-day event. The festival has been running since 1983 and raises funds for youth programs and services throughout Orange County.

History

Hog Day has been a community and family tradition in Orange County for over 40 years. The festival was established in 1983 with the goal of raising funds to support children's projects, schools, and nonprofit organizations within the county. 100% of the profits from the event are dedicated to these causes.
