Shri Shriram Khanderao More[1][2] alias Annasaheb, 69, also known as Gurumauli & President of Akhil Bharatiya Shri Swami Samarth Gurupeeth, Trimbakeshwar,[3][4] a charitable trust, has been engaged in grassroots social reforms for the past four decades, in village Dindori, 25 km from Nashik, Maharashtra.
Through the Rural and Urban development Campaigns under the guidance of His Holiness Gurumauli, in various parts of the state, country as well as abroad, the 'Shri Swami Samarth SevaMarg'[5] has been able to address various social issues being faced by people through the 'Eighteen-Point Social Reform Program' of the SevaMarg. Social Reform Program (SRP) focusses on Value Education,[6] Moral Values and Patriotism for children and youth, De-Addiction Campaign, Counselling Cells, Guidance on Organic Farming,[7] Health through Ayurveda, Scientific Research of the "Vedas", Marriages without dowry, Preservation of Indian Culture, Guidance on Law, Women Empowerment, Self-employment, Millions of Tree Plantation and Conservation,[8] Natural Disaster Relief work etc. These Programs which are free of cost have helped in the creation of a more sensitive, tolerant, happy and an overall positive and inspiring community both in India as well as abroad.
His Holiness Gurumauli has been executing Social Reform Programme from, a Socio University, Shri Swami Samarth Gurupeeth, Trimbakeshwar that conducts practical workshops, study tours, seminars and training for one and all, free of cost, across global. The aim is to raise new generations, proud of culture and with a scientific bent of mind and confident to face the future. The counselling sessions that are essentially a man & mind healing technique run across more than 7000 centers of SevaMarg across globe, taken into consideration the social and educational background of the solution seeker and suggests him or her simple easy-to-do self-help techniques.
