Hillary Okello also known as Okello Okello is a Ugandan comedian, entertainer, and medical doctor. Okello has gained popularity for his unique approach to comedy, which often highlights to social issues in Uganda.[1]
Early life and education
[edit]Hillary Okello was born in Uganda and grew up in [Place][clarification needed]. He attended Nakasero Primary School and later Jinja College . He pursued higher education at [University][clarification needed], where he studied medicine and graduated as a medical doctor. Despite his background in medicine, Okello developed a passion for comedy during his time at university.[2]
Career
[edit]Okello began his comedy career in 2009 to 2012, performing in local venues and at university events, professionally in 2017. His comedic style often revolves around social issues in Uganda, using humor to create awareness about important topics.[4]
Okello has performed in various comedy shows and festivals, both locally and internationally. He is also active on social media, where his skits and stand-up performances have garnered a significant following.
Okello was also a radio presenter at Hot 100 FM from 2019 to 2022 where he used to host the breakfast show.[5]
