Heat2Eat Self-steamer Ltd is a UK Company founded by Chris Everett.
In 2020 during a trip to China the founder noticed a plastic container product that heats food using 'Flameless Ration Heaters' which have commonly been used for some 20 years by Armed Forces worldwide.
Upon his return the founder decided to introduce the product to the UK Outdoor Markets, thus reaching the general public as he felt the product has strong emergency qualities and can prove vital in certain circumstances such as Mountain Rescue and lifeboats.
The Company decided to rename traditional terms for the product and so Self-Steamer and HeatStones are now used.
Noticing that the 'UK Market' was less tolerable around single use Plastic the Company developed a Silicone Version in 2023 which is assumed a world first. The product can be reused and reused over and over making it environmentally friendly.
