Hana Hatae is a former child performer known for her role as Molly O'Brien (1987-93) in the Star Trek franchise and Family Matters (1989), Star Trek Renegades (2017) and Kitchen Nightmares (Sushi Ko, 2010). Hatae attended San Francisco State State University (2017-2019) and graduated with a Bachelor's in psychology. Though she left the acting business in her 20's, she came to public attention again
in February 2024 after she allegedly assaulted an elderly disabled gay man in Buena Vista Park, San Francisco. Following the attack Hatae allegedly made false statements to San Francisco police. Hatae was cited and and booked for battery by SFPD on February 27, 2024.
