Defection

[edit]

Some North Korean officials got in a dispute with Han over some revenue he was gaining from selling property, They wanted 20% of his profits. Han did not want to so he denied. Han knew that he would loose his status as a diplomat because of this and it would've been likely that he was going to be sent to a labor camp or be sent to death. He escaped from the North Korean Embassy in Hanoi then started running to the South Korean Embassy. Han was being chased by the Vietnamese Police which were trying to deport Han to North Korea for punishment. Han successfully ran to the South Korean Embassy and was deported instead, to South Korea.
