Born 17th feb 1988. A lyricist, an actor by profession[1]. He is known for his songs Saadi Gali Aaja, Mitti Di Khushboo, Atrangi Yaari, Ek ladki ko dekha to aisa laga, DIl na Jaaneya to name a few.[1]
Early life and Education - He was born and raised in Chandigarh. He attended Chandigarh Baptist School for primary schooling and did his secondary schooling from St. Stephens School. He attended Junior college and went to do Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Geography Hons from Dav College, Sector 10, Chandigarh. He had a passion for acting, music and Bhangra since childhood. His parents supported his passion. He represented India in the Llangollen Musical Eisteddfod held in Wales in the year 1997 as a Bhangra dancer. India was placed 3rd in the competition. He did theatre throughout school and College before moving to Mumbai.[2]
Career - He made his debut as an actor on the Tv while staying Chandigarh in the show Thank you Jijaji with the famous satirical comedian Late Mr.Jaspal Bhatti. He moved to Mumbai in the year 2010. His career took off with the show MTV reality Stars created by Nikhil Taneja which was aired on MTV in the year 2013. He went on to do the series 24 which was aired on Colors Tv starring Anil Kapoor as the main lead. He appeared as the character ‘Mihir’ in both the seasons. He made his debut as a lyricist with the song “Saadi Gali Aaja” which he wrote for the film “Nautanki Saala” starring Ayushmann Khurrana. The music of the song was done by Rochak Kohli.[2]
