Geography

Gundlagutta Thanda is located in the Annamaya district of Andhra Pradesh state in southern India. Gundlagutta Thanda lies at the foot of GTT Hill.

The people celebrate all major Hindu festivals, including Sankranti, Ugadi, Krishna Janmashtami, Maha Shivaratri, Ganesh Chaturthi, Deepavali, Rama Navami, and Kartik Poornima. Ganesh Chaturthi also known as Ganesh Chaturthi, is celebrated with great fervour at Gundlagutta Thanda. Every year, people wait with great anticipation to celebrate the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi. And like always, we also hope every year too.

The primary and secondary school education is imparted by government, aided and private schools of the School Education Department of the state. Only primary education available in the village. Student used to get education from Tirupati, Madanapalle and Gurramkonda.
