Griffin Daniel Puatu[1] (born September 7, 1997) is an American voice actor, voice director and singer best known as Louis in Beastars, Ganke Lee in Spider-Man: Miles Morales, New Police Chief in Akudama Drive, Sunday in Honkai: Star Rail, and Spitz in WarioWare Gold, among other roles.

Personal life

[edit]

Puatu grew up in a mixed family. His father is Filipino, Spanish and Irish, and his mother is Swedish and German.[2]

Puatu publicly defended Chris Niosi when his history of sexual and emotional abuse resurfaced and welcomed him to the role of Moze on Honkai: Star Rail on Reddit, calling Niosi's victims "unreasonable" for not forgiving him and telling them to "move on".[3][4][5] He got a lot of criticism online, so he commented on the post, saying that he wasn't trying to blame the victims of Niosi, only saying that they shouldn't be able to determine whether Niosi should get another role or not.[3][4]
