If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources. This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). Gregory Kerr is an American YouTuber and author.[1] Under the pseudonym "Blue", he is a co-host of the YouTube channel Overly Sarcastic Productions, which has over one million subscribers and whose videos regularly accrue tens of thousands of views.[2][3][4]
Education
[edit]Kerr attended the Boston University College of Arts and Sciences, where he graduated magna cum laude with majors in classics and philosophy[5] and minors in economics and Core interdisciplinary studies in 2018.[6][4] During the 2016/2017 school year, Kerr was awarded the Alice M. Brennan Humanities Award in classical studies,[7] also winning the Divisional Distinction Award for Second-Year Humanities in 2016 and the Polytropos Award in 2018.[6]
YouTube
[edit]Kerr began his YouTube career in March of 2015 under the pseudonym "Ares" as a host of the YouTube channel Animus Island, which was an Assassins' Creed podcast.[8][9] Four days after this, Kerr joined the channel for which he would become more widely known, Overly Sarcastic Productions, by creating a video entitled "History Summarized: The Athenian Empire" which, as the name may suggest, summarized the history of the Athenian Empire.[10]
Since Kerr's arrival to Overly Sarcastic Productions, he has continued to create popular history-focused videos for the channel.[4]
