Goldentyre is an Italian tire manufacturer specializing in the production of off-road tires. In 2010, Goldentyre was the unique supplier for the FIM Supermoto World Championship.[1]
History
[edit]Founded in 1978 in Bologna, Italy, the company initially focused on manufacturing bicycle tires. However, in the early 2000s, Goldentyre expanded its product range to include motorcycle tires.[citation needed]
In 2010, Goldentyre was the unique supplier for the FIM Supermoto World Championship.[1]
In 2015, Marco Caribotti, an Italian professional motocross rider, purchased Goldentyre.[2] In 2017, Caribotti was appointed as the director of the company[3] and introduced the Goldentyre FTS (Flite Tubeless System).[4]
In 2018, Goldentyre inaugurated a modern factory dedicated to radial tires.[citation needed]
