Giraffe360 is a property technology company established in 2016. The company manufactures a robotic camera system paired with propietary software that produces virtual tours, high-dynamic-range (HDR) photography, and floor plans for real estate professionals.

History

Giraffe360 was founded by Mikus Opelts and Madars Opelts in 2016 in Riga, Latvia. In 2018, its headquarters moved to London, United Kingdom. The company has expanded services to over 30 countries and as of 2024 has offices in Riga, Liepāja, London, Manchester and Miami.

Products and Services

Giraffe360 offers a subscription-based service featuring its robotic camera. The camera incorporates LiDAR technology and AI to automate the capture of virtual tours, HDR photographs, and floor plans. The system uses point measurements to generate floor plans with a reported accuracy rate of 98%.[1] The camera automates image processing and tour assembly through the company's proprietary software.[2]

Funding and Investors

By November 2022, Giraffe360 had raised $22 million in equity financing and $9 million in venture debt. The Series A funding round brought in $16 million, led by Founders Fund with participation from Hoxton Ventures, LAUNCHub Ventures, and other investors.

Leadership

The company is led by co-founder and CEO Mikus Opelts, and co-founder and COO Madars Opelts.
