Gina L. Franco, is an American poet, and educator. She teaches English at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, since 2003.

Biography

Gina Franco was born and raised in CliftonMorenci in Greenlee County, Arizona.[1][2] She graduated with degrees from Smith College (BA 1997) in Northampton, Massachusetts,[3] and from Cornell University (MA, MFA, PhD) in Ithaca, New York.[1]

Some of the work she is known[1] for is A Best of Fence: the First Nine Years, The Wind Shifts: New Latino Poetry, as well as the anthology, Camino del Sol: Fifteen Years of Latina and Latino Writing.
