Gina L. Franco, is an American poet, and educator. She teaches English at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, since 2003.
Biography
[edit]Gina Franco was born and raised in Clifton–Morenci in Greenlee County, Arizona.[1][2] She graduated with degrees from Smith College (BA 1997) in Northampton, Massachusetts,[3] and from Cornell University (MA, MFA, PhD) in Ithaca, New York.[1]
Some of the work she is known[1] for is A Best of Fence: the First Nine Years, The Wind Shifts: New Latino Poetry, as well as the anthology, Camino del Sol: Fifteen Years of Latina and Latino Writing.
