Ghafuri Tribe (Kurdish Sorani: غەفوری, Kurmanji: Xefurî) is a Kurdish tribe located in Koysinjaq (Kurdish Sorani: کۆیا, Kurmanji: Koya), a town in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
The Ghafuri tribe has a long and rich history in Koysinjaq, known for its resilience and strong community bonds. During the Ottoman period, the tribe played a crucial role in supporting each other through periods of hardship, helping to prevent starvation and preserving their way of life despite difficult circumstances.
