George started racing BMX at the age of four in 1985. 2025 will be his 40th year racing. In 1986, George made his first ABA BMX Grand National. Since 1986, George has made 44 Grand National main events. In addition, George has twenty-two national age group plates from 1989-2024 with 9 of them being number one overall in his age group from 1992-1998. For decades he has been one of the top amateurs at the end of the season. In 1992, 1993 and 1994 he was the number three overall amateur in the country for cruiser. From 1990 until 1996 George won 14 gold cup number one plates and 10 district number on plates. George has 17 total gold cup number one plates. At the 1994 UCI World Championships, George won two UCI bronze medals in the 13 boys class. At the 1996 UCI World Championships, George finished with two second places in the UCI 15 boys challenge class. At the 1997 UCI UCI World Championships, George finished with two world titles in the 16 boys challenge class. From 1994 to 1997 George won 6 ABA World Cup titles. In 1999, George turned pro and would record 6 pro wins from 1999 to 2009. In 1993 and 1996 George won two factory team titles while racing for Haro-Crupi and Haro Bikes. George has over 2000 career wins from 1985-2024 as an amateur and 6 professional wins as an A-Pro. In 2004, George graduated from Rockford College with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. In 2014, George graduated from the Chicago school of Professional Psychology with a Master’s degree in Sports Psychology. In 2020, George graduated from the Chicago school of Professional Psychology with a Doctorate in Technology and Education. George is a certified USA Cycling level 3 coach.
