[edit]"Gank" is insult that describes a person who is often seen as a type of nerd, but without the positive qualities typically associated with academic success or passion for a subject. A gank cares little about their appearance, exercise, or personal hygiene and does not get much involved in important aspects of life, such as school, family, career, or relationships. They can be perceived as lazy and selfish, with no interest in taking care of themselves or their responsibilities. It is also used as a derogatory term for people with left-wing political views, liberal views and who support homosexual ideologies. It's a very new word mostly used by young Swedes in school and online.
