Fuzuli Isa oghlu Musayev (Azerbaijani: Füzuli Musayev; born Febuary 01, 1962, in Ganja, Azerbaijan is an Azerbaijani karateka. Colonel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, first vice-president of the Azerbaijan Karate Federation, member of the Youth Committee of the World Taekwondo Federation.

Fuzuli Musayev was born in a working class family in Ganja, grew up there and spent his youth there. He came to the big sport at the age of 20. He was engaged in sports individually. He practiced karate and won the title of world champion twice. Later, he trained in taekwondo, and since taekwondo is an Olympic sport among Eastern martial arts, he was assigned here as a specialist.

Since 2001, Fuzuli Musayev has been working as the 1st Vice President of the Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation. He served in the military in Arkhangelsk region. When he returned to his homeland after military service, since there was no karate school in Ganja, he went to Baku, got a job at the factory named after Lenin, and stayed in a dormitory. The first karate teacher was Azad Kazimov. Azad Kazimov trained him first in judo and then in karate. He started learning there slowly and became the champion of Azerbaijan after 6 months. Later, he was awarded the title of champion of Azerbaijan and USSR champion in the 1990s. Since karate was not written at that time, he was awarded the title of master of sports in hand-to-hand combat. His first big victory was at that time. Later, as a team, he became the European champion, the third in the world in Japan, and the world champion in Mexico in 1995.

In 1997, he became the world champion for the second time in Australia. He became the world champion for the first time when he was 33 years old, and for the second time when he was 35 years old.

From 1986 to 1997, he worked as a policeman for almost 20 years. He rose from the small inspectorate of the fight against crime to the chief inspectorate. When he graduated from the Police Academy and worked in the police force, karate was very important to him. There were moments when he got into hand-to-hand combat with the criminal, hit him and knocked him down.
