The Formoli or Farmuli are a tribe of Pashtuns.[1][2][3][4][5] Who are scattered all over Afghanistan. But live mainly in Kabul and South Eastern provinces.
History
[edit]The Formoli were mentioned by Babur in his memories where he encountered them in a battle.[6] The Faromli tribe had an important place in the court of Lodi empire. They were again mentioned in Baburname as "Afghan farmulis" who served the Lodis.[7] They were also said to be stationed at battles with the Lodi kings.[8]
