Finlay Tarling (born 2 October 2005) is a British track and road cyclist who rides for Israel-Premier Tech Academy team. He in the brother of Josh Tarling.[1]
Career
[edit]In 2023, he was a silver medalist in the team pursuit at the Junior European Track Championships in Portugal. He rode that year for Dutch team Willebrord Wil Vooruit and finished runner-up in the Junior Chrono des Nations in France.[2]
He was a bronze medalist in the points race and the team pursuit at the 2024 UCI Junior Track Cycling World Championships in China in August 2024.[3] In 2024, he was runner-up in the British national junior time trial championship but was sick for the world junior championship time trial in Zurich in September 2024 and placed 24th overall.[4]
He signed a two-year contract to ride for the Israel-Premier Tech academy team from the 2025 season.[5]
Personal life
[edit]He is from Ffos-y-ffin in Wales.[4] He is the brother of cyclist Josh Tarling.[6]
