Introduction
[1]EverymanHYBRID is a found-footage web series that was posted on YouTube from 2010 to 2018. The series started out as focused on a group of friends who were making a fitness channel. The friends are Evan, Vinny, and Jeff. In the first few episodes, you catch glimpses of Slenderman throughout. After the first few sightings Evan, Vinny, and Jeff make a video admitting that they planned to put Slenderman in the series but they are seeing him more than they are putting him in. After this, they start to get terrorized more by the real Slenderman and not the actor they had playing him. From here it all goes downhill.
Characters
The main characters include Vinny played by [2]Vincent Caffarello Evan played by Evan Jennings and Jeff played by Jeffrey Koval. For the original fitness series, Vinny was the main host Evan was the dietary specialist and Jeff did the video and editing. Another character that appears in the show is Alex Jeff's brother who appears sporadically.
Monsters
The Monsters who appear in the series play a major part in the story and are the reason that most things happen. One of the monsters who appear is Slenderman. He is shaped like a person but he has no face and is taller than a person could realistically be. When he is on camera the camera gets a distorted effect. Another monster that is seen in the series is The Rake. The Rake looks like a distorted human that runs on all four and attacks people with its claws. The last main monster from the series is HABIT. HABIT is a demonic spirit who possesses Evan for most of the series. HABIT can affect the camera like Slenderman can but instead of normal distortion on the camera, he makes the camera have a purple distortion effect. Purple duct tape is how you can tell that it is HABIT messing with something.
