The Environmental Information System (ENVIS) Scheme is implemented by the Environmental Information (El) Division and The first Centre was set up on 28.09.1983 with data collection, collation, and storage capabilities, ENVIS functions as a one-stop, web-enabled repository for complete environmental information.^[2]
