Edwin I. S., full name Edwin Immatty Shijan, is currently serving as an Email Database Curator intern at ANSR and is a BCom graduate specialising in marketing management at Christ University in Bengaluru, India. From April 2023 to April 2024, he was a placement representative at Christ University in Bengaluru, and from November 2022 to April 2023, he was an internship representative there. He is passionate about Digital Marketing, Branding, and Analytics, and is building a career around these skills.[1] He is a native of Thrissur, Kerala, and has been settling in Bangalore for close to two decades.
Education
[edit]Edwin completed his pre-schooling at De Paul EMHSS School, Choondal, Thrissur, Kerala[2] and moved to Bangalore with his family to secure further education. He completed his 10th grade and his pre-university studies at Swargarani School & PU College[3] in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bangalore. Edwin was the recipient of the Student of the Year Award for 2018–19. He also served as the school prefect for three consecutive years. Friends called him "Eddie" at school. He also secured the first rank in the commerce stream with the highest academic score in 2020-21. Later, he pursued Bachelor of Commerce specialising in Human Resources and Marketing Management from Christ University, Bangalore. There, he held multiple positions. For a short duration, he served as the internship representative, following which he was promoted to the placement representative in the Department of Commerce, serving the Centre for Placement and Career Guidance (CPCG),[4] the placement cell of the college, for a year. He also served as the Vice President of a department club, BILANX: The Banking and Insurance Club.
Career
[edit]Edwin completed multiple internships. The first one, he completed from GBA & Associates Chartered Accountants,[5] Jayanagar, Bangalore. It was for a month's duration. Later, after his graduation, he completed an internship as an Email Database Curator at ANSR in the marketing team. Edwin also conceived a digital marketing platform, named eDWiN.[6] He provides digital marketing, design, branding, consultation, CRM, branding strategy, advertising, and associated services through his website. He is the solopreneur for the same.
