Formed in late 1992, the Dumfries Demons Ice Hockey Club are the longest running ice hockey team in Dumfries and play out of Dumfries Ice Bowl.
The Dumfries Demons are part of the recreational section of Scottish Ice Hockey and have competed at different levels of competitiveness during their 30+ years of being an ice hockey club.
Today, the Dumfries Demons compete in the Scottish Cup - the highest level of recreational ice hockey in Scotland (Scottish Ice Hockey, 2024).
Since 1995, the Dumfries Demons have been hosting a Spring Tournament at Dumfries Ice Bowl where some of the best recreational teams from England and Scotland compete.
In 2024, the Dumfries Demons won the Spring Tournament for the first time in the clubs history beating the Edinburgh Lions Ice Hockey Club 3-1 in the final.
