In 2023 Dr. Liviu Vedrasco was appointed as the Head of the country office of the World Health Organization in Kyrgyzstan.[1]. Previously, he led the Department of the Emergency Preparedness and Response Program at WHO headquarters and worked on several programs at the WHO country office in Thailand, Myanmar[2]. In his career he had roles such as Emergency Relief Coordinator at Médecins Sans Frontières and Medical Advisor at the International Committee of the Red Cross, where he provided medical care in crisis-affected regions[3]
