Doreen Montalvo (November 15, 1963 – October 17, 2020) was an American actress. She was best known for her as Camila Rosario in the original cast of the critically-acclaimed musical play In the Heights.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11]

Early life

Doreen Montalvo was born in The Bronx, on November 15, 1963, the daughter of Puerto Rican immigrants. She was also one of three children.[12]

Career

Montalvo made her broadway debut around 2010 in In The Heights.[3]

Personal life

Montalvo married stage actor Michael Mann in 2010.[3][5]

Death

Montalvo died after a brief illness on October 17, 2020. She suffered a stroke weeks before.[3]
